Let Me Educate You

I don't care about +Gigi Hadid and/or +Zayn Malik. Like seriously, not even a little bit. But +E! News keeps acting like I care whether they're together or not and giving me updates on what's happening. I can't help knowing. So apparently Gigi wants to be an excellent girlfriend but Zayn is acting all uncommunicative and shit. "Her friends are telling her to leave him alone", but Gigi wants to get back with him if he would just behave.
In spite of She's Just Not That Into You (or was it he?) we still insist on telling ourselves stories don't we? We like to tell ourselves that these guys are misunderstood, or they don't know what they're doing or they just need someone to love them enough or they're sad. Whatever pathetic story you need to tell yourself to justify hanging on to some guy who is treating you like shit, who knows he's treating you like shit. And doesn't care because treating you like shit works. It keeps you on your toes, always looking for ways to please him; to find +DJ Khaled's magic key to happiness if only you just persist. If only you don't abandon him to the cruel world which has made him like he is. If you just persevere.

Do you mind if I laugh?
Just a little bit, not a lot.
Now back to Zayn Malik. He's a bad boy. The genuine article. Not a +Chris Brown bad boy who is really just an immature gentleman with no impulse control and a bevy of women willing to throw themselves at him. No.
That kind of boy just needs a strong woman who will take away his phone, tell him to shut up, sit down and behave.
Nor is he a bad boy like +Columbus Short who is just really some guy with mental health issues and poor decision making abilities.
No.
Zayn Malik is the real thing. He chooses the girl because she's 'nice', she wants to be needed, she wants to be loved. And then he pullllaaaayyys her like a violin. He does this thing where when he's present, he's super attentive, he holds her hand, he introduces her to his friends, he makes her believe she's the only one he can talk to about his troubles. He lays his head on her breast and lets her comfort him...
Then he fails to return her texts. He disappears for days at a time or weeks, or months. He goes quiet.
She's left anxious.
What's wrong?
What did I do?
What can I do to make it better?
While he sits and watches her anxiety levels ratchet up; just waiting for the right time to swoop in and be the perfect boyfriend again.

It's all you making a hundred percent of the effort, a hundred percent of the time. And you don't even realize it because you're too busy wondering what you did wrong.
Listen to me.
I'm a savage.
The real deal.
So I know how these minds work.
I watch them, I shake my head and I move on.
But then I realized recently that just because I learned how bad boys operate doesn't mean that everyone does. Some people still go on believing in these games waay into middle age.
I write romance stories; and when I can, I try to make the guy as realistic as possible. Leo is a guy you can meet in the streets. He's flawed, he's immature, he's selfish...but that's not all there is.
It's maybe possible to connect for real with the bad boy.
But only if you don't play his games.
Ask Mya.
The irony is that you can only win if you don't play and you can't play at not playing. You honestly have to mean it. You can't pretend disinterest, you actually have to be disinterested. It's the bitter irony of dealing with bad boys. You can't win, unless you actually don't want to play.
My suggestion is, be happy and stick to your weight class. If you're a nice girl, look for a nice boy who will treat you right, always remember your birthday and want to meet your mama.
Leave the bad ones to Erykah Badu. She knows when to call Tyrone.

Why Do You Love Who You Love?

So I'm working; let's be clear about that. But when I'm working at home I like to watch +Supernatural in the background. I don't really have to pay attention since it's the like eight trillionth watch but also sometimes I catch something new I'd missed in all those other watchings. So this time, the thought occurs to me because it's been discussed in the media recently, that what if the final episode of the series consists of Sam and Dean dying and going to like Valhalla or wherever and all the people they helped are waiting in different rooms. Kind of like that cop out ending in the +Stephen King Dark Tower Series which left me SEVERELY disappointed. Only they'd find like, that ghost they helped to move on, and Madison the werewolf, and the chick who probably died of heart disease coz they killed that preacher's reaper? Charlie, Benny (his original soul rather than the vampire one) Kevin, Gadreel, everyone. And then in the top rooms would be Bobby and Mary Winchester and John Winchester and...ugh, Jess. And they're all waiting around a dinner table for Sam and Dean to join them. So then they have their first family dinner in like...ever. Then it ends. That's in like after the twentieth season mind.

Well anyway I was watching the Madison episode and wondering if +Jared Padalecki has a type...Like brown hair, strong personality and if he was attracted to Madison irl. So I decided to google Sandy McCoy who Jared was engaged to before his marriage to +Genevieve Cortese. And she's like Gen Cort 1.0. Right up to the same height, the same hairstyle, the same age. Jared said in one of his recent cons that he knew she was the one on the first date. Which begs the question; why? Is it because she fulfilled his physical criteria and also whatever gaps in synchronicity Sandy didn't fill? Or did Jared just have a type from way back? (we can't really say from just two women. We'd need at least four to do an accurate correlation.
Can you even tell who is who?
It's just so interesting. Raises so many questions about the idea of 'The One' and how we fall in love.
Take Ashton Kutcher for another example. He was in That Seventies Show with Mila, where allegedly there was kissing. He meets Demi, marries Demi, divorces Demi. Suddenly Mila is the love of his life. Does it have anything to do with her being very close to being Demi 2.0 in terms of looks at least? (I don't know their personalities enough to say). Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Was it meeting Mila that got him into the slim chick with defined jaw and long brown/black hair school of women or was it falling in love with Demi yet wanting to have a family that led him back to look for Demi 2.0 who was younger, fertile and someone he already knew?

Wow, this theory really takes the romance out of life don't it?
You know who else has a Demi 2.0? +Bruce Willis. The girl needs to teach a masterclass together with +Rihanna and +Erykah Badu .
+Katy Perry's men, all dark haired, troubled (okay I don't know if +Orlando Bloom  is troubled but I'd bet he has some issues), unhappy blokes. Wait, she said she was through trying to save people so maybe Orlando doesn't need saving but he fits the correct physical description?
Eonline coincidentally wrote an article about how we're all just attracted to ourselves according to 'science'. If that's so, what about mixed race couples? Are Mya and Leo not in fact, destined then?
What do you think?

Boom Boom Boom Boom. Bang Bang Bang Bang.

That song has been ringing in my head ever since last week's episode of Empire...
Anyway...
And it was appropriate for the heading of this post.
So a bunch of terrorists claiming to be ISIS shot up Paris day before yesterday. It was very sad. CNN had updates all day yesterday as a result. Twitter started a hashtag #PrayforParis. Art was drawn to commemorate this horrible thing that happened...
I'm not saying its wasn't horrible. Hell I shed some tears for them. Its sad that people have to resort to this kind of mayhem to communicate. Its Piers Morgan who said though that more people were killed by guns in America in that same 48 hour period than were killed in the entire Paris Attack. Furthermore, the same day, Beirut was bombed. Did CNN mention it? I didn't see it squeezed in anywhere in the 24 hour coverage of Paris.
I guess we can't pray for everyone; we need to concentrate on the important ones. The ones that happen in the West right? Because obviously the rest of us third world dunderheads are used to dying anyway, it's normal to be shot up, kidnapped, bombed, our lives are not as important. Don't we get that?
Anyway, that's a story for another day; I'm not one for banging my head on a brick wall.
This post is about asking hard questions and getting difficult answers.
What is ISIS? Does anyone even know?
We are told that they started in Syria, some time after the world abandoned it, the UN council turned their backs on the possibility of rescuing Syrian citizens from being murdered by the state. They said, "It's not our problem."
Well it is now isn't it bitches?
But really how much do we really know about them? Who are they? What is their leadership structure? How do you confirm that every attack that claims to be ISIS is actually ISIS? Is ISIS simply some big fat boogeyman that the West invented to take credit for any attack that happens on Western soil in order to avoid dealing with the fact that shit happens within their borders and it is their fault? What happened to Al Qaeda? How come they don't exist anymore? Is it like a game of tag and ISIS is 'it' now?
How come ISIS takes all recruits? It's more 'disenfranchised of the world' rather than 'radical muslims'. And how does ISIS even find these people to be recruited. Is there an online form you fill and submit and then 'somebody will contact you at your earliest convenience'? Is there a secret facebook group maybe masquerading as 'Harry Potter Fans'? (the movies not the books). How does it come off as this all powerful, super secret thing which recruits from everywhere but nobody actually knows where and despite the NSA and satellites and shit, nobody ever finds out what they're doing...
I'm more inclined to believe that these guys wanted to blow up Paris for their own nefarious reasons and they planned it and did it and then 'ISIS' take the blame/credit probably to propagate hatred of muslims. That seems more logical to me.
Otherwise why does no one come forth with demands? When people commit an act of terror or whatever there is a reason behind it; they want something. But we're never told what these people want. Why they're doing this. And there doesn't seem to ever be an effort to find out. Its just oh, some guys blew us up; war, kill, bomb...make more radicals. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I'm sick of it.
Stop the hate!

This book is about another kind of hate; plus the power of love...cop it at smashwords below: http://bit.ly/1LmcX1s
